If only it were a little wider to accommodate lateral moves and have a slightly firmer underlay for uneven surfaces , then I would have given it 5 stars.

Dope ropes

This jump rope is the same specs as our popular signature beaded rope but with long handles. The long handles give you more reach when doing crosses and wraps and so allows for easier execution of more advanced trick combinations. The beads are weighted to give you feel and feedback as the rope moves through the air. In addition, the beads allow the rope to hold its shape and doesn't kink and generally moves slower giving you more control when learning and executing skills. Some people also prefer to have a bigger surface area to catch for releases. We still recommend that beginners start with the short handle beaded rope in order to learn technique and hand positioning correctly first and then add this rope to the collection! Also, long handles are somewhat down to personal preference too! The Dope Rope Cardio 2. The rope features unbreakable handles and a 5mm PVC cord with a string core adjustable to any height. The 5mm spec gives the rope enough weight to give a good amount of feel and feedback. This is super important to allow beginners a better road to success when starting their jump rope journey. The weight of the rope is designed to give a good cardio workout and works as a great option for intermediate and advanced jumpers too! The PVC material cuts through the air more than a beaded rope of a similar weight and so is a great option for some added speed and double unders.
