You can do the quests while leveling, they are quick and give good XP, they give gear for example you get the mats to instantly start a workorder for a up to chest piece in the plains and profession equipment which is cheaper than buying them in the AH, particularily now as we see even green profession gear costing G and more for some professions. Sure, if you level only over dungeons or pvp it's nice to have, so obviously I won't complain about having the option ingame.
