If there won't be a way to add Tier Set bonuses only after we've acquired them from another source, of course to our Crafted Gear, then sadly, no; they won't stay relevant for the rest of the expansion. There should be a way to "extract" a Tier Set bonus from an item, and then "attach" it to crafted gear. Whether it be required to be in the Embellishment slot, or in it's own additional slot, I don't really mind or care.
