Augments in Dragon's Dogma are passive trait boosts that are purchasable with Discipline Points within Vocations , but transfer over when selecting a new vocation. This encourages experimenting with a variety of playstyles. Augments can provide a wide variety of benefits, increasing strength and defense to faster movement and improved spelllcasting. Augments are earned by leveling up your character's Vocation , completing quests, or as rewards for completing Bitterblack Isle. Vocations are the classes that your character can specialize in, such as Fighter, Mage, or Assassin. As you level up your character through these Vocations , you will unlock new augments.

Cost : DP Description : Stamina limit is increased by Cost : DP Description : Hastens your movement speed whilst carrying a person or object. Cost : DP Description : Hastens the reloading process for ballistae, allowing you to fire bolts more quickly. Cost : DP Description : Keeps you from being slowed while fording water or marshland.
