The Dragonvale Sandbox is an online web app created to help you experiment with breeding combinations, figure out what your best options are to breed a particular dragon, and figure out what dragon you just bred. The main page of the web app allows you to select two dragons to breed, and whether you're breeding in an accelerated cave, and presents a list of dragons which might result. Each dragon is described with images of both the dragon and its egg, its breeding time, and an estimate of how likely it is to be bred.

There are some factors that can affect the results when breeding for a certain dragons :. Note: The order of the dragons being bred does NOT affect the result. Then, tap on the "Breed" button, and a menu with two sides, "Dragon one", and "Dragon two", will open. Dragons will be available for Breeding once they are at level four or higher, and incompatible or unbreedable dragons will be "greyed out". Players must select one dragon on either side. Once the dragons are selected, press the "Breed" button at the lower center of the menu.
