The Wowhead Client is a little application we dressing room wow to keep our database up to date, and to provide you with some nifty extra functionality on the website!

Export entire transmogs to either MogIt or to your chat window! You can export other people's transmogs too, to see how they did theirs and what items they used. New in v1. You can even combine this with other methods, such as the chat link. Any equipable item link can be previewed with the dressing room. For example, I am wearing a shoulder, but would like to preview an outfit with a hidden shoulder. I like to look at items from the appearance pane or adventure guide loot tables without always being at the transmog vendor since they may be items I have yet to obtain. Maybe right clicking to disable or a toggle switch to select and deselect items from the appearance list would be a good place to do this? The hidden slots will replace the previously empty slots. You do have to sacrifice an outfit slot for this, though.

Back then a cool looking guys was a cool guy in game sense too. I think they're saying that people who looked cool also had good gear - if you saw someone standing around in full tier 2 set, that was probably BiS at the time. Now you can see someone in a really cool looking, matching set of armor, but they might not even be max level. Which is really funny, considering for most of classic paladins wore a teal dress and not their actual set. Fortunately transmog was introduced several expansion later.
