Driver ping g10
Ping golf clubs have become immensely popular among all skill levels of golfers. Perhaps no other brand has had as rich a history of combining forgiveness and performance. When Karsten Soleheim introduced his innovative perimeter weighted designs, the golfing world was rocked to its core and golf club technology reached a new level, driver ping g10.
The market leading G5 driver was a hard act to follow, but with the Ping G10 driver we think Ping have managed to improve the best even more. The first thing you notice is that the head is deeper front to back and also taller. This has been achieved by some jiggery-pockery in the design to stay within the cc limit and it gives you immense confidence at address. The love-it-or-hate-it crescent on the crown is a even more subtle than before and the new colour scheme looks very good. Performance is what it is all about though and the new G10 driver delivers big time. With the weight a little further back it gets the ball airborne with low spin on a great trajectory.

The story behind the Ping G10 Driver is one of evolution not revolution. Technicians have spent hours studying how high MOI designs actually work. If your wondering how it differs to the Ping G5, well its body is slightly wider, the face height is slightly taller which ultimately means the clubs centre of gravity is located a little lower and deeper meaning more forgiveness over Pings previous great drivers. When it comes down to the stats Ping tour players have found the Ping G10 an average of five yards longer than their current driver. While club golfers comparing the G10 and Ping G5 have experienced a four yard gain in carry distance and a 2 mph gain in ball speed. Which we agree all adds up to the G10 being a worthwhile addition. And quality lasts forever. But actually, if you went and got yourself fitted for one of these you might not need to tinker with your driver for some time. The G10 was the follow-up to the hugely popular G5… which in turn was the follow-up to the hugely popular G2! It features a high MOI and so offers stability and forgiveness on off-centre hits; but it also has explosive power, with the result being that long, straight drives become that much more attainable. The sizeable, classy head shape also does at least its fair share of confidence-boosting. The G10 is simply a great all-rounder. George liked its conventional look and felt it was incredibly solid while Jon loved the confidence-inspiring look at address.
Better than my previous G5 model 5 out of 5 WOW superb feel and awesome distance. It shows for me on the range and the course.

When Karsten Soleheim introduced his innovative perimeter weighted designs, the golfing world was rocked to its core and golf club technology reached a new level. Stock shafts have received a reputation for being an overly soft and inconsistent. In the end, the question that seems to arise most often is whether the G10 is worth upgrading from their previous models. Either way, it all seems to combine together to work very well in the G Again for better and stronger players this is a frustrating element. Most Popular 1. Will not be a tough sell.. He changed the shaft in the driver from the proforce high launch to a graffaloy red stiff to get better control on the height he was hitting driver. Bought one about a month ago — put a good swing on it and the ball just goes. I had a TM driver but this Ping is the real deal. Will stick to my Titleist. A real pleasure to play with. G 10 is a great club but its makes you wonder what are they going to say next year to make you believe that this driver was last years model and not quite as good? Complete set of drivers and irons, they were absolutely amazing. Applying some excellent pointers from my swing instructor I was finally able to drive the middle with consistency and could then make an objective valuation of different drivers. Looks and feel are subjective, of course, but to me the improvement was night and day. Hit them both in a Golf Galaxy and actually hit a few further with the G5 , but the G10 was going consistently straighter at about both these were If you practice on an enclosed range your ears will thank you for your choice in drivers. The fact that the G10 has a muted sound makes me want to try it even more, the high pitched sounds of drivers like the Sumo and FT-5 are not want I want to hear. The sound and feel are very solid, you can really feel the ball compress on the face as it leaves at high speed.
