We were invited along to East River, one of the best restaurants on Allerton Road Liverpool, as it reopens following lockdown. To help with the brand new menu launch, we were asked to sample some of the main dishes on offer and give our honest review of the food. We sampled three cocktails from the menu, but my two favourite were;. Electric Kool Aid — with tanqueray, cherry and pomegranate soda, citric acid and electric foam. Red Velvet Ramos — tanqueray, strawberry, citrus, whites, cream, soda and rose water. There are options to suit most dietary requirement, however as meat lovers, we opted for mostly meaty dishes.
