Same with the rear wheel, couldn't tell you what's up with it without knowing more about it; maybe pics showing the rear hub out of the frame might help. Maybe it's a screwed up freewheel that needs replacing The graze mark that you can see on the spindle is where the sealed bearing ring would have been seated - my guess is that the hole in the bearing rings have been deformed and widened through repeated impacts, so much so that it causes side-to-side play on the spindle. Judging by your description of the freewheel, it sounds to me like it needs replacement too. Remove the nut from the axle and take a look into the freewheel to determine what type of freewheel it is you are looking for notches to match the tool that will remove it. Btw, put your sony camera into macro mode when taking close up pictures as it will give clearer images.
