EdShed, or Education Shed Ltd, edshed our accountant calls us, is the umbrella for several educational products and brands, edshed.

Welcome to EdShed. We are an education company run by teachers, for teachers. Our products encapsulate traditional teaching resources along with technology and are designed based on current research and proven pedagogy. We were founded in by Martin Saunders and Rob Smith after a conversation about improving how spelling was taught in primary schools. We launched Spelling Shed as a relatively simple app shortly after and it's escalated ever since. Now, we serve over two million learners in schools and households across countries for a range of products. As educators ourselves, it is a huge privilege to be able to affect so many children and educators in a positive way and to deliver the most impact with the least hassle.

EdShed has launched an exciting new product: Mastery Zone. Mastery Zone is the AI-driven EdShed tool that ensures each student's learning is focused on the words and spelling patterns they need to master in order to progress. Powered by our own Nano Bees, Mastery Zone begins by guiding each student through a mini-diagnostic to determine their strengths and areas for improvement.

Like many teams within EdShed, my team has grown, and what was one is now a flourishing three! Where has EdShed been used recently? Drawing tool for free-hand annotation. In the last month, we have had 50, unique active users, with 6, in Texas alone! MathShed makes the acquisition of these key skills fun and engaging for students and easy to plan for teachers. Our independent research partner, McREL International, have analyzed our product and developed a research-driven logic model and evaluation plan for our curriculum and technology.
