Elden Ring is not shy about making your life miserable as you approach the end of its main story. The entire area of Crumbling Farum Azula will test your combat skills, patience, and your ability to deal with groups of tough enemies. The big target of Farum Azula is Maliketh, the Black Blade , but before you actually make your way to him, you must first defeat the Godskin Duo. Depending on how much Elden Ring you played up to that point, you may have already run into one of these two or both before. Basically, the Godskin Duo is an obstacle on the way to Maliketh.

This boss is a combination of two previous bosses, the Godskin Noble and the Godskin Apostle. Similar to the Four Kings from Dark Souls, you need to deplete the boss health bar by defeating multiple iterations of each foe. This boss is located at the bottom of the Dragon Temple area. I was able to beat them on my 2nd try. But damn the scenery and the music is dead serious. Without abusing anything and just fighting them with a regular weapon, there's sufficient pillars around to use as cover for one that gets left behind throwing fireballs while you beat the skin out of the other that's closer. If youre struggling as melee but generally feel comfortable with Apostle, this is a slow but very consistent way to deal with this fight. This saves the pots for multiple attempts and future use, at the cost of the Mimic Tear often using all its equipped pots quickly. The solo strategy revolves around having both the Godskin Noble and the Godskin Apostle within view at all times. Bought this game again and back at it spoilers. What character should i pick. Wow, that ended up being far easier than I was expecting. For magic users, using the spell Comet Azur and a bow loaded with sleep arrows will trivialize the fight. When you first encounter this fight, you're likely to approach it from the Dragon Temple Site of Grace. These fellas did try to 1v2 me but no it was 3v2 with my mimic and Bernahl haha. No way the duo is there to stop you from getting to maliketh since that's what they want to do. Note that it can roll up onto a pillar at the very beginning of the attack, so try to hide behind one a little further away. Both are great at tanking and will help demolish these idiots poise. The Godskin Duo boss fight is easily one of the most challenging — bordering on aggravating — fights in Elden Ring. Being so close to the grace really helped, it took me 7 attempts and I died with godskin only needing one more shot to kill but I got greedy. Bought this game again and back at it spoilers. Dual wield 2 golems halberds with the cragblade ash of war, and apply the bleed affinity. The pillars can also be a major hindrance. This is the easiest method, as it only takes one or two pots. Repeat the 1v1 process until they all die.
