So I've been trying out a counter to the English opening. It's called the great snake variation. I'm english opening great snake variation it gets the name from the pawn structure, which kind of looks like a snake, if you have never seen a snake. The idea is to play an early e5, f5, G6, and d6 and develop behind the pawns, then advance them.
