While concertgoers have been reassured that risks to their physical safety remain lowMPs recently raised concerns related to cybersecurity; specifically, the potential of the contest becoming the target of Russia-affiliated hacker groups. While these collectives are not officially state-controlledeurovision incidents, they are supportive of the invasion and motivated by the prospect eurovision incidents revenging perceived offences against Russia.

Each participating country submits an original song to be performed live and transmitted to national broadcasters via the Eurovision and Euroradio networks , with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner.
