December I haven't had to use these forums in quite some time. But Exalted plains puzzle been playing PC version of DAI for quite a while now, exalted plains puzzle, and have so far been able to rely on Youtube and other websites if I got stuck anywhere that I needed help with in this game.

Exalted plains puzzle
The great stone hand was something of a mystery. One assumes it is a piece broken off from a larger whole. If so, judging by the size of that one hand, I imagine the entire sculpture to be Thus I have only one question: where is the rest of the statue? It is difficult to imagine how something so large could go missing. The Dead Hand is one of the Landmarks on the Plains with an elven shrine underneath it. It is located east of the Ghilan'nain's Grove camp and found by traveling southeast of the camp past the fade rift. As the party enters the room with the archer, there is a switch to the southeast, which will open a gate on the east side of the room. Move one of the party into that space and have them hold position. Each time a member of the party moves, reissue the hold command. Doing so will keep them in their places while the puzzle is completed. Then, return the switch to its original position, giving the trapped character access to one of the torches and a switch. The southwest pillar is already down, so use the switch twice on the small statue to the north to rotate the archer. The northeast side pillar can be lowered by lighting all three of the blue flame torches, see diagram.

First teach how to use " Hold Position " command to stay still party memeber when you need it. Trigger to turn statue and shot with archer is in X. Trick is that pillars P1, P2, P3, P4 block arrows from hitting spheres. We should lower pillars and light spheres. Stand with one of your team members on press plate 01 , split team and with second team member use X , as many times as B1 will glow.

If you got this quest just follow it on horse to Dalish Camp Dragon Sketches - on a table positioned atop a rock. A scroll named Confession - atop the rock with the owl? The Exalted Plains , also known as Dirthavaren "the promise" in elvish , is a region of the Dales in Orlais. The Exalted Plains is a grassland region with myriad abandoned forts. It was here, centuries ago, that the Dalish kingdom met its bitter end, the holdouts of the elven army making their last stand, refusing to surrender against the champions of Andraste : the templar , the sister , and the nobleman patron. The champions' cause was just, and their faith led them to victory. The plains were henceforth called "Exalted. The Exalted Plains are steeped in conflict. Centuries ago, the Elves of the Dale made their last stand here. More recently, The Plains played host to some of the most heated conflicts of the Orlesian Civil War. Somehow, despite ages of unrest, the lands the elves call "Dirthavaren" retain a fragile beauty. Ville Montevelan ruins.

I just opened up that passage from the war room and now I'm doing the puzzle with the 4 pillars and the archer statue. ThandalNLyman , having looked at the guide in your link there, and reading the instructions that are included with it, I still find myself quite baffled and confused by some of that I'm afraid. HoIlywood Topic Creator 9 years ago 4 ok I've done the one where I light all 3 torches, and the one where you have to make someone stand on the glowing floor but I'm stuck on the last one, I don't know how to make that gate open in the back area. So if you hate this puzzle that much you can easily avoid it and just not get a few bonus points I haven't had to use these forums in quite some time. Leave a teammate at the torch behind the gate on the east side. I'm quite sure I can probably make my way through the rest of the game enough without this stuff. That's why I think I would much prefer to bypass it and try to take the alternate route that mcsupersport explained to me instead. I posted a reply here yesterday, using just the single reply button option I've just come back to have another look, and it seems a bit strange as either my reply wasn't submitted or it was somehow taken off as I don't see my reply here now. The entrance to the room with the puzzle is sealed off with a magic barrier. This mission is not an official quest, but it is rewarded and poses a challenge to players.
The video you linked to is a bit confusing, but it is basically correct. The southeast is the most complicated. This opens a gate on the other side of the room to which you can go in to move the last pillar. There are four unlocks that must be achieved in order to unlock the gate in the back for the loot and a shortcut to the northern bog area with the dragon and gurguts. So split four team members to this locations and fire. The closest puzzle you will find involves walking over a path only stepping on each tile once. B1 Sphere Stand with one of your team members on press plate 01 , split team and with second team member use X , as many times as B1 will glow. Have a character hold position there, then pull the lever to raise the gate seemingly trapping them. Move one of the party into that space and have them hold position.
