I have not experienced fraying or shedding either. They blend nicely and arent harsh on the eye area either. When i factor in the range of brushes i have used, cost, and quality…these are pretty good overall and would buy them again and use regularly. I realize this is not a top tier product. I knew when I purchased this set that I was getting a "good deal" on a set of Morphe's base level brushes. Unfortunately even with my expectations in check I was quite disappointed.
