The Fairlight Strael 3. Built with custom Reynolds tubing and with a wealth of sizing and fairlight cycles options, the Strael offers high levels of both comfort and performance, while being relatively lightweight for a steel frame, fairlight cycles. The spec on this review build is mostly the standard Shimano Ultegra Di2 setup that Fairlight offers, but with a Chris King headset, which adds to the price slightly.

Even their "road bike" would be gravel capable with clearance for 36 mm tires. The gravel bike fits 61 mm tires. While the additional squish of massive tyres certainly helps, fairlight cycles, you do get slightly better rollover with c to offset this.

The Secan is our gravel bike. The design of the Secan revolves around the simple idea that you can transition between road and off-road and ride fast everywhere. It can transform your local riding, as you begin to link up all the best lanes with farm tracks, bridleways, even woodland single track. To me, this is what gravel bikes are all about.

I'm not in the market but I'm a fan. Join now. They are great bikes. Each frame size is available in two versions. With mudguards fitted, the tire clearances remain at 45 or 42C. I am an extremely fortunate young man in that I have access to many lovely bikes, but the ability of the Secan to absolutely sing on the road, particularly on broken tarmac is what really endears it to me. The Fairlight website includes a fit calculator, where would-be customers can input either their fit measurements, if they know them, or the measurements of a bike that they like the fit of.
