A section of the city under the control of the Lombardi Family , the quarter is home to Quentino's Night Club and the Neapolitan Casino. The heart of America's Playground, the Casino Quarter is home to some of the richest and most opulent locations in Atlantic City, largely due to the fact that the floods that wiped out Atlantic City after the Great War spared it. Instead, it is overgrown by vegetation, though the places that matter, like the crown jewel of the Lombardi family, The Neapolitan Casino , are kept scrupulously clean. The Casino Quarter is an area of Atlantic City filled with high-rise buildings and an abundance of greenery overtaking some of its monorail cars, walkways and streets. The Vertibird landing zone during Expeditions spawns the player character at a landing pad on top of a building in a corner of the Casino Quarter. A nearby stairwell leads down to the lobby of this building, where two Overgrown are always found, as well as two safes to loot in the elevator shaft. Following the western edge of the district leads to some tunnels where buses and vans have been abandoned.

There isn't too much to see right now, but there are new locations and even new enemies to take on in this expansion, whenever it launches. The Atlantic City update is listed as "coming soon", so it's not clear when it will actually be available to players. But judging from the footage so far, development is going well, so we'll have to keep an ear out for any further updates. This is quite the turnaround for Fallout 76, as I don't think many of us would have expected to see the MMO still up and running almost five years on. After such a disastrous launch, with almost every aspect of the release going wrong, many companies would have thrown in the towel. But Bethesda persisted, delivering updates that have slowly shifted the perception of the game - even if many of us would rather the studio spent more time on Fallout 5. Or, at the very least, let another developer take the reigns once again.

It was not fully introduced as a physical location until Expeditions: Atlantic City. The Neapolitan Casino appears only in Fallout Among the developers who worked on the design of the Neapolitan Casino was level designer Matt Thomas , who also worked on the Trench in the Pitt. Bethesda shared these updates during the Xbox Games Showcase with a Road to Atlantic City trailer that also recapped a bit about what Fallout 76 offers to fans in terms of customization, enemies, weapons, housing, and more. The trailer also confirmed the Atlantic City Expedition will be "coming soon. Since then, Bethesda has continued to support the game and has added substantial updates like the Wastelanders one that added human NPCs, new quests, and more to make it feel like a more traditional Fallout game. In a teaser at the Xbox Games Showcase, Bethesda revealed that Fallout 76's next Expedition will take vault dwellers on a vacation to the Atlantic City boardwalk.
