Fantasy football week 7
If you were hoping the Chargers and Cowboys would save us from Week 6 being the lowest-scoring week in the NFL in more than 15 years, I've got bad news for you. On the whole, the big names for Fantasy did pretty well Monday night. CeeDee Lamb had Dak Prescott had But the story of last night's game was the points these teams left on the field. Pollard had a yard gain on a catch that could have been an even longer touchdown if he wasn't caught from behind — I saw some folks on Twitter saying he would have scored last season, and I can't disagree. He just hasn't looked as explosive this season, and it cost him and Prescott a few points. Herbert cost himself plenty of points Monday with a handful of errant passes, including two that could very easily have been long touchdowns to Allen if he hadn't airmailed them. It was a frustrating ending to a frustrating week, and it just breaks my heart to have to tell you that I don't think things are going to get much better for Fantasy Football players in Week 7. Between our first six-team bye week and just a ton of injuries to deal with, Week 7 is looking like an awfully tough one to figure out.

There are favorable match-ups for fantasy managers in Week 7 of the NFL, including what has the potential to be a barnburner between the Miami Dolphins and the defending NFC champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. There are also questions surrounding the availability of Christian McCaffrey, who exited Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns with an oblique injury. Who should managers expect big seasons from and which waiver wire addition can help fill the void that McCaffrey's potential absence could create? All stats via FantasyPros unless otherwise stated. The loss of Christian McCaffrey to an oblique injury during Sunday's loss to Cleveland surely has fantasy managers holding their collective breath about his availability, both next week and long-term.
Fantasy Football is all about the matchups. Even though you drafted your team with certain hopes and intentions, your weekly lineup decisions shouldn't be determined by the order you picked your players in. You need to check who your players play and make sure you've got the right guys in -- and the wrong guys out. It's too early to be absolutely sure on which matchups will be easy and which ones will be tough, but we can take some educated guesses based on healthy personnel, defensive schemes, track records and key details of offenses. The things we know can help us minimize the impact of the things we don't know. This should lead to better decisions being made. We'll go through every game and highlight the players who aren't obvious starts and sits because you don't need to be told to start Jonathan Taylor.

Week 7 of the NFL season may be the toughest yet for fantasy football managers to navigate. Then, there are also injury issues to work around, as Week 6 saw players like Christian McCaffrey oblique , David Montgomery ribs and Justin Fields thumb exit their games early. So, the player pool is shallower than usual, but it's still deep enough to compile Week 7 rankings at every position. Lawrence is the name to watch here, as he hurt his knee on a late sack Sunday. Elsewhere, this should be an interesting week for Purdy, who played the worst game of his career Sunday of for yards, one touchdown and one interception and suffered his first regular-season loss as a starter. He could also be without two of his top playmakers in McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel shoulder. Kamara started the season with a three-game suspension, but he's been playing as if he's trying to make up for the lost time since. While he's only found the end zone once in three games, he'll have scoring chances if he keeps seeing volume like this: 52 carries, 23 receptions and scrimmage yards. In Philadelphia, Swift has hinted at perhaps becoming more than a boom-or-bust option.
