We counted 13 bridges over the creek on the way down. Easy walking except for a few short steep grades and quite a few tripping hazards to be watchful for. Nice hike, but it was very very slushy, wet and slippery! This was a great hike on a groomed trail. A perfect time to be out. Nice well signed trail with lots of beautiful wild flowers and butterflies.

Ann Fournier reviewed Horseshoe Canyon Trail. The trail maps are a bit confusing and not the best marked. A very snowy hike today in hiking shoes, very glad I was wearing smart wool hiking socks. Saw lots of fresh smaller cougar tracks so decided to continue on until we came across larger fresh tracks, we then turned around, found even more on the way out.
