I don't understand how people can complain about this pier or the ferry system. I've never been on any of the ferries, but since I was in the wall street area decided to take one to LIC. Timing wise it worked out well. You have to either download the app or get a physical It's nothing short of amazing and a nice supplement to other modes of transportation around the city. I don't use it for commuting, Fairly priced- buy the ticket at the machine or use the app. Friendly service from crew and great photo ops! This ferry also moves fast- so hold on!
