We use Virtual Apps and file explorer does not have a border with Serverso if one launches multiple file explorers and their borders overlap, it is impossible to file explorer border missing out where one window ends and the other begins.

The border is actually not missing you can see that on the coloured areas on the image above , but the Windows Explorer border colour changes to white when you set focus to it, and then it very often looks as if there was no border at all, since other windows below often tend to have a white background.

I thought I was simply being careless until I realized why I wasn't able to differentiate between multiple file explorer windows. As you can see from the image below—there is a border line present in the dark app mode but not in the light app mode.

I had the exact same problem where the solution wasn't working but unchecking, apply changes, checking, apply changes and it works! On Windows 10, each window has a colored window border and a shadow. You can change the color of your window borders and even disable the shadow, if you like.
