During the second half of the turkey season and into the beginning of Fall deer season, I can wear this comfortably as my only top layer. When it really cools off, this is a perfect mid-weight top to layer into my system. This is my favorite top by far. This is great! Compacts small but offers some serious durability and options. I would highly recommend. Sizing is great and could still get a lighter puffy vest or jacket underneath if temps were really plummeting.
