While the previous 3 installments relied on visual queues to guide the player, FNAF 4 is almost completely reliant on audio queues. Additionally, FNAF 4 takes place in a bedroom where you play as a child, while the previous 3 installments had you playing as a security guard with cameras at your disposal. This makes the atmosphere of FNAF 4 incredibly scary, leaving the player feeling defenseless at times. This game will take around hours to complete and can be done in one playthrough. FNAF 4 tends to be very difficult for a lot of people, as there is a learning curve to understand the various audio queues throughout the game, including what the "breathing" of the animatronics sounds like.
