To keep Fredbear away, the player must close the door very quickly when he appears in the hallway, and if he appears on the Bed, hold the flashlight on him until he disappears. If he is in the Closet, the player must close the door until they hear him leave. This night brings back visual cues to the game, as Nightmare Fredbear will never directly jumpscare the player simply for shining the flashlight, only if they are late in reacting after it has been flashed.
