Instead of the Mojave Wasteland, however, the mod introduces players to the titular Frontier, a cold, desolate waste surrounding what was once Portland, Oregon. The main plot focuses on a conflict between three factions. First are the NCR Exiles. Led by General Blackthorne, the exiles deserted from NCR after being betrayed by President Kimball, and have journeyed to the Frontier in order to get the supplies and weapons they need to return to California and oust Kimball from power.

I'm asking here because I know if I asked this in their server those losers would insta ban me, like they did to many many people who criticize the mod. The bits I know are how they act like spoiled children whenever anybody criticizes the mod. I also know they got strangely angry and even political when people said they like the Enclave and legion in some cases and that always came off pathetic and childish to me, but I always said "well the devs can be a bit lame and still make a good product" and distanced them from it. But now I'm hearing about pedo stuff. Can someone give me a comprehensive timeline? I know, 7 years is a lot, but I would very much like to hear an in depth explanation. Fallout the frontier can now be downloaded on Nexus Mods. However, due to a plethora of potential bugs, we strongly suggest you create a new save for playing the Frontier, to minimize potential errors. The base idea of the Frontier was to construct a completely new environment from the Mojave Desert and Capital Wasteland. Portland, Oregon was chosen for many reasons. I know some of you from Oregon may say, there is no way in hell that Portland gets this much snow and some location in Canada may fit better with the Frontier. While this is true, keep in mind that it would have been even harder to fit the NCR and the Legion that far up north with a reasonable explanation. Right now, the reason for a lot of snow in Portland is, when the nukes hit this location, a cloud of dust and ash went up and blocked the sun. So everything under, essentially froze over. Size wise, this is shaping up to be one of if not the largest mod released for New Vegas, and perhaps on any Bethesda game.
