So I was walking around Megaton when I told Dogmeat to search for ammo but after walking around for a bit and even waiting for an hour he still hadn't came back. I fast traveled to Vault and the Scrapyard and he wasn't there. Could anyone help me find him?

He's a bloodthirsty little bugger and can be a huge help in the early stages but the game doesn't exactly throw him into your lap.
