On my game my follower is Derkeethus the Argonian, follower lost skyrim, i was doing a quest where i had to clear out a bandit fort after that i noticed that my follower was goneI looked follower lost skyrim in and around the bandit fort I had cleared out to see if he had died and i didnt find him. I had a Dark Brotherhood Initiate as my follower, and I gave her my Nightingale bow and the Ancient Dark Brotherhood armour as well as other high-end equipment. She was dismissed for a quest, and when I went back to get her all of her equipment is not in her inventory! I have no idea what to do because most of her stuff was quest items that I can't get back.
