Ford syncmyride update

You visit the official Ford website and navigate to the Sync Updates page. After entering your vehicle information, you find the latest update available for your Fusion model and year.

Just checked and there appears to be a new sync 3 update available. Have downloaded and extracted it. I was wondering if anyone use has already up loaded it to their car. Suppose once that is done there will be maps available. Good job I had a long driver planned, sod leaving your engine ticking over that long, actually wondering how long it would take via WiFi. Done mine last night on a long drive.

Ford syncmyride update

I'm trying to update my Sync 3 from version2. I've tried downloading it several times on different devices both Windows and Mac and none of them can extract those two files. Has anyone else experienced this or found any way around this? Are you trying to decompile the compressed files in the folder? MSA No further unpacking is needed as the SyncMyRide folder is self extracting and processed by the car's installation system itself. Any attempts to extract the files prior to plugging into the car will result in an installation error due to file structure disparity with the autoinstall file. I have the same problem trying to update my F The file that downloads from the Ford website won't unzip because the Zip file is corrupted.
