From what i understand, the desert runner was only 4x2, had the 3. But it had off road suspension and chassis. My truck just says 4x4 off road on the bed, it's got the vg33 3. So to my understanding, i do NOT have a dessert runner, i have a 4x4 off road. Or did they make a dessert runner with 4x4 and with an auto trans?
