The Knightfall Protocol was the last of Batman 's backup plans, to be deployed only when his secret identity was compromised in order to protect those closest to him, full knightfall protocol. The door closes, and just three seconds later, there are numerous explosions at Wayne Manor. The music swells, and then we see a new scene with an internal monologue from Jim Gordon. This time, however, the couple is anonymous as is the kid , and instead of being killed, a shadowy figure with the appearance of the Dark Knight interrupts from the rooftop of a building nearby. Batman Arkham Knight contains two different Endings following the conclusion of the Main Story in the game. These endings can be accessed only once though it is possible to keep playing after witnessing one or both endings and require you to complete a certain amount of the games Side Quests - known as Gotham's Most Wanted except for the missions from the Infamy DLC. These endings take the form of the Knightfall Protocol. The Incomplete Knightfall Protocol can be enacted only when Batman has apprehended at least seven of Gotham's Most Wanted - meaning you have to complete at least seven of the fourteen different side quests. What happens if Knightfall Protocol is activated without having all that done? You can activate for the half ending then re activate for the full ending later.
