Gabby Duran lands an out-of-this-world job in her new town thanks to her principal: babysitting an unruly group of important extraterrestrial children who are hiding out on Earth. Gabby has to choose between keeping her new secret alien-babysitting gig a secret or risking it all by confiding in her extraterrestrial-obsessed best friend Wesley. When Gabby hears a rumor about herself going around at school, she uses a telepathic alien to find out who started it, jeopardizing the alien in the process. When Gabby develops a crush on a boy from her school, her attempts to fight her own feelings inadvertently throws the boy's life into chaos! When Dina hires Susie Dustman, a self-proclaimed "super-sitter," to watch Olivia, Gabby's jealousy drives her to go toe-to-toe with the rival sitter for her sister's affection. Meanwhile, Swift prepares for the end of his assignment on Earth.

After living in the shadows of her successful mother Dina and smart younger sister Olivia even when they move to Havensburg, Colorado, Gabby Duran finds her moment to shine when she gets a job from Principal Swift to babysit an unruly group of extraterrestrial children who have been hiding out on Earth disguised as humans. Gabby resourcefully and fearlessly steps up to the challenge to protect the children and their secret identities.
