This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail. Be ready for hills. Almost immediately the path begins to slope down and continues to do so until the stream at the bottom. Walk through some impressive boulders which provide shade and a good place to sit for water. The climb up to the car park isn't for the faint-hearted, very steep and can feel relentless but worth it! This trail is not for the faint hearted. Very challenging with ascent and descent.

Griffins walking track is an 11km hike through the beautiful Yarrunga Creek Valley, with scenic views, wildlife, and opportunities for camping along the way.
