The series, which is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, is an offshoot of the American reality show Jersey Show in which the drama-filled lives and actions of the housemates are captured on camera. The series premiered in and has attracted a vast proportion of viewership and popularity. Premiered on June 26, , the eight-episode season three covers the dramatic and intriguing events in the lives of the housemates, some of which include Holly and James growing closer, Sophie calling it off with Joel and leaving the house, Gaz disapproving of the closeness of Charlotte and Andy, and a fight between Gaz and Charlotte in the club, to name a few.
