The German Shorthaired Pointer is an extremely versatile dog. Whether you want an eager, competent hunting dog, or an intelligent, trainable and athletic partner for the various dog sports eg. But where this dog excels is as an everyday friend and great family dog. Bred for many generations to work closely with people, this breed does not do well when isolated for long periods of time. He loves nothing better than, after his regular daily exercise, to cuddle with his human buddies or lie beside them companionably. We strive to produce dogs with exceptional temperaments, superior health and outstanding natural ability for hunting. You will find some breeders are focused on competition wins, records and awards; others are selling puppies to make money, our attention is on the DOGS. When choosing dogs to use in our breeding program, we look at longevity and overall health, we look at how cooperative and trainable the dog is, we look at how easy the dog is to live with, we look for hunting and pointing instinct. Our greatest desire is for our puppies to live long healthy lives as cherished family members and hunting companions.
