The often-forgotten prequel to the God of War series, Ascension , came out after the bombastic finale of God of War 3. New concept art released today for God of War: Ascension shows some of the game's environments, a lush smattering of grays and warm red hues depicting scenes from intimidating stone buildings and sunlit marketplace alleys. Some of the above artwork shows areas players will pass through in Ascension, from carpet-strewn rooftops to rock walkways cut into the side of cliffs.
