I loved this hotel, there are so many separate pool areas you can always get a sun bed, the food particularly the gyros and chips were amazing, we are still missing them now! Evening entertainment was good and varied. Staff were very friendly and the rooms clean and spacious. Shopping in Heraklion was brilliant and worth the trip. Would never return to this hotel, ever! Don't bank on Jet2 to assist you after returning either. Rooms were filthy in block

Enjoy Cretan hospitality at its finest in the village of Gouves, Heraklion — at a resort featuring impressive water parks and modern facilities. Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort guarantees you a relaxing vacation, delicious food, carefree fun in the water and entertainment for the whole family. The staff was extremely kind and made us feel very welcome. Nice and clean areas, and cleaning at the room every day. The beach was meters away. Food was fine and there was plenty of it. My father who is disabled came with us and after explaining the room allocated was not suitable as there were too many steps fir him they relocated to a suitably placed room for him. The food was fab something for everyone.

The bar was always undermanned and took way too long to get served during busy periods. We had a lovely week long stay at Gouves Watetpark, we were very happy with our accommodations despite uncomfortable mattresses and the staff were very welcoming and always helpful.
