Griffin Alexander Gluck [1] born August 24, is an American actor. He also had further leading roles in comedy films Big Time Adolescence , Tall Girl and its sequel , and North Hollywood , and appeared in the second and final season of the Freeform thriller anthology Cruel Summer Gluck was born in Los Angeles. His father, Cellin Gluck [ ja ] , is a film director and producer, and his mother, Karin Beck, was a production assistant and line producer. Gluck started acting when he went with his older sister, Caroline, to a summer children's showcase of Guys and Dolls at the Palisades Playhouse. His big break came in , when he played Michael in the film Just Go with It , [11] for which he received a Young Artist Award nomination. He was later cast as Mason Warner on Private Practice , and was then upped to series regular on the show. We've been watching actor Griffin Gluck on both the big and small screens since he was a kid. Now, he's starring as Luke, the boy-next-door on season 2 of Cruel Summer , which had its double-episode premiere on June 5 on Freeform. We know Luke quickly gets involved in a love triangle with childhood friend Megan Sadie Stanley and new girl Isabella Lexi Underwood , but it was two of Griffin's other co-stars that made us do a double take: actors Paul Adelstein and KaDee Strickland, who play Steve and Debbie, respectively. Paul is Griffin's onscreen dad on the mystery show — for the second time. Over a decade ago, Paul and Griffin starred together on Private Practice , a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy that ran for six seasons, as father and son. Griffin joined the cast in and stayed on until the show's finale in To make an adorable reunion even better, KaDee played Griffin's stepmother on the medical series, and now she is the girlfriend of his TV dad as well as the mother of his TV best friend.
