Thrilled to have so many of you along the ride for the opening of Classic WoW!! This is finally the chance to get back to our roots with world PvP and the opportunity to RP as a knight of the Alliance or warrior of the Horde!!

We are community members and that is completely reflective here. Recent Classic realm Discords have been founded by Reddit mods. These people are interested in gaining popularity and maintaining their small circle receives all fruits of their labor. I firmly believe their monopoly on the realm Discords are wrong. This was the first Grobbulus Discord server I found and I wholeheartedly support this one.

Whitemane and Mankrik connected realm groups are very developed as of this moment. There are a lot of full BIS players and the economy is very saturated through the natural course of play and botting. The inflated economy sees items in GDKP going for tens of thousands of gold in some cases. This is entirely under the control of Blizzard. The only thing we can do about this is play private servers or attempt to make a fresh of our own until Blizzard makes moves of their own. Bots show up? Of course, as they do in every Blizzard product since Blizzard has been making games. People transfer their fully geared chars to Grob? Almost certainly.

We currently have three dedicated raid teams and are running an Alt raid but are looking to build even further. Our goals from launch were to level up as fast as we could while still enjoying the experience by playing in groups, doing dungeons etc. You can expect a friendly, dedicated group of players who are knowledgeable and skilled at the game. You should always be on time, and try to make it to every raid. We do understand that this is not always possible but high attendance is expected. You should also have a working mic, be able to communicate when asked to, take and give criticism, and have fun. Great Guild, great people. We can get very rowdy at times, but when it comes time for progression, this is a focused group of people. Looking forward to going through Classic with all my GP fam.

The more I see on discord, browsing the guilds, etc has me anxious for release more than before. Basically the reddit discord, and then this discord server, which if I understand correctly, started out life as the RP-PvP insurrection, trying to get Blizz to see reason and give us our RP-PvP server. Just seems like a community split over something as tiny as internet power. This Discord server is not intending to fracture the community at all.
