Watford area manager Ian Hayes said it was important to mark the occasion with the sweet-loving public. Hancocks has been supplying sweets since it was established in in the Midlands by Ray Hancock and his wife Elizabeth.

It comes after the cash and carry wholesaler put in new social distancing measures to trial open one of its stores in Manchester earlier this month. And following the "successful" trial opening, Hancocks will now open three further stores in Watford, Birmingham and Glasgow tomorrow. They will also open for reduced hours between 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. The stores will not open at the weekend. We're pleased to say we will be re-opening our Birmingham, Glasgow and Watford stores on Monday 18th May.
