That dating aspect tremendously complicated Harvest Moon , and the Game Boy Color version which also works fine on the standard Game Boy, a sign of why it may be lacking gets even more exasperating quickly than the other versions.

Before beginning, the player is able to choose whether to play as a girl or a boy, and name themselves. You have the ability to buy, sell and take care of farm animals, crops and any other supplies that you may have. You can trade with many of the town's people, and fellow farmers. If you link up a friend's Game Boy, you can trade items between players as well. The local stores supply plenty of items to help you in your quest, at a cost, of course. And if you have the time, you can go about the town in search of a little fun away from work. From an overhead perspective, you can explore your farming area, the local town and the Harvest Sprite tunnels, full of strange and wonderful creatures that can help or destroy your quest.

Strictlystyles HM64 is the perfect game for me. The player receives a horse early in the game, which when grown can be used for farm work, riding, and shipping items. I have a lot of fond memories of my time there. The girl's beginning shows her trying to save Harry's farm by taking control of it. I initially had no idea what it was about. Great article!
