Greetings, Shredderz!
Founded in by brothers Stephen and Jimmy Tsukayama, Hawaiian Island Creations started as a small surf shop in the cozy eastside community of Kailua on the island of O'ahu. Through a commitment to quality products, HIC opened a full surfboard manufacturing facility producing an array of surfboards, longboards, and sailboards within the same decade of opening. With a successful expanding retail chain during the 90s, HIC closed its surfboard factory and licensed its surfboard brand to Surfboard Factory Hawaii. Through this partnership, the HIC brand has built a reputation as an icon of Hawaiian surfing recognized throughout the world. The retail chain has grown to include fifteen stores across three islands, providing authentic Hawaiian surf gear to both locals and visitors alike.
