One woman has died after a terrible crash on Highway outside Dartmouth this afternoon.
Louisiana State Police responded to the crash around 9 a. LSP said that the driver side-swiped a Chevrolet pickup truck that was stopped at the intersection. She then continued into the northbound lane and struck a Honda CRV. The driver of the Honda CRV was restrained but sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet was wearing a seatbelt and had no injuries.

The driver of the first car was airlifted to hospital where she later died. The driver of the second car was treated at the scene and released.
