Hitachi tools kind of slipped off my radar over the last few 10 years. That seems to be in the rear view mirror and disappearing quickly.

The stable and powerful Hitachi Inch Jobsite Table Saw is packed with features that any Pro should love, including the largest rip capacity in its class. The marketplace determined a while back that professional job site table saws should feature inch blades powered by amp motors with convenient, folding stands with wheels for transport and storage. Yet Pro table saws are different in rip capacity, fence design, build quality, RPMs, and several other features. It appears to be a contender for all-around table saw excellence, but can it really live up to the hype? As I mentioned, the C10RJ Hitachi table saw is powered by a direct drive universal amp motor with soft start function and an electric brake. An overload sensor protects the motor from damage. An oversized power switch featuring an emergency off safety cover protects everything else. The mid-range RPMs coupled with the tooth carbide tipped blade suggests that Hitachi meant this saw to do more than just rip rough lumber but instead gave it the chops to do harder wood and cleaner finishes. The table also has the ability to support pieces much larger than a lot of its peers.

It is a Jobsite saw with a decent saw blade, but its lack of manufacturer support has made it somewhat controversial. I am a professional woodworker, and I always try to find quality tools.
