You must complete a large portion of the quest chain to gain access to the Sons of Hodir reputation faction. You start off with the relatively simple task of freeing some prisoners from the hands of the Vrykul women. Getting the last prisoner, Zeev Fizzlespark , brings you into contact with Lok'lira the Crone , who helps you infiltrate with the Hyldnir , in disguise. After you successfully free Zeev, Lok'lira asks you to continue to gain the trust of the Hyldnir, with the purpose of rousing Thorim from his stupor and ending the war between the Hyldnir and the Sons of Hodir. By competing in various stages of the Hyldsmeet you gain the honour of riding a drake up to the Temple of Storms , where you meet Thorim.

Hodir rep

Within this guide, we will go over all the ways you can gain rep with the Sons of Hodir, explain how to reach Exalted , and cover the rewards doing so can earn you. All players will start off as Hated with this faction and will need to complete a quest chain in Storm Peaks in order to unlock the methods of raising your reputation. Unlike some of the other Wrath factions, there is no dungeon tabard available at Friendly. Once players have reached Revered and Exalted , they will have a chance to purchase two mammoth mounts that unlock these achievements:. You begin with a default reputation of Hated with the Sons of Hodir. To raise this and eventually reach exalted, you must begin and complete a questline in Storm Peaks that begins with They Took Our Men! Eventually, you will complete Mending Fences and A Spark of Hope which will set you to Friendly status and unlock the daily quests and token turn-ins you can use to get your rep the rest of the way to Exalted. There are a few ways to raise your reputation after the mandatory questline. At Neutral reputation, you can begin the token turn-in, which requires 10 Relic of Ulduar. It is possible to raise your status to Exalted with this method, provided you have the gold.
