Armor technology is a series of technologies related to vehicles that are specifically designed for gun carrying capacity, cross-country capability and sustained combat. With armour for the protection of its internal operators against enemy firearms, the integration of a cannon or similar weapons that would be unwieldy to be carried by leg infantry and mobility to operate in many terrains. Light, medium, heavy, super-heavy and modern variants each have their own battalion types and will not request equipment from other lines. Heavier variants are slower, so they should be reserved for heavier divisions since they will negate the speed advantage of light divisions. They use less equipment than the corresponding tank battalions. Tank destroyers are dedicated anti-tank vehicles. They are essentially an anti-tank gun on a tank chassis; tank destroyer battalions can be thought of as the armored or mobile equivalent of infantry anti-tank battalions, but unlike infantry equipment it cannot be used as a support brigade. Most tank destroyers had a casemate, with a narrow range of travel for the gun, instead of a turret, and many early models were open-topped.

Light tanks are fast, take less production, and have the best soft attack per buck. Medium tanks are fast, and have the best armour for buck as well as decent hard attack. But they take lots of production and chromium which is very specific to land masses.
