Home assistant supervisor missing
The info location lists the core version that is a part of all the different install methods. This is not an indication of your install type.
On my Synology Docker installation the Supervisor tab is missing. Is it possible to add it manually? How does it work? Thank you very much for you answer. With your install type you are responsible for installing and maintaining Docker containers.

I am new to HA, and just installed a fresh copy of it. I am looking for the most features that are available and after reading all the documentation, I thought the method of install I chose would give that to me. I have a small form PC running Windows 11 and installed virtual box and downloaded the VDI file and installed it using the instructions found on the HA site. Windows - Home Assistant. I looked on the side panel and in the integrations, it said I need to manually install it. Where did I go wrong? Thanks in advance! It says that I have it, Supervisor How do I access it? Thanks for your help! I think I saw a video saying that I can find the path to it in supervisor.

I had the same question and have been confused with all the online guides and documentation that refer to past interfaces. Your answer was super helpful. I must be dense. I have the latest HA via a Docker installation. Things move so fast that any tutorial on YouTube becomes obsolete in pair months. Is my wife responsible for this?
While we try not to break supervised installations, we do have a few things we need to change. These adjustments you have to manually apply to your installation. Without these adjustments you will start to see warnings in your logs, and your installation will eventually be marked as unsupported. If you are interested to make changes required on supervised installations more maintainable, have a look at the blog on the developer site. As an alternative to doing these adjustments, you can migrate your installation to Home Assistant Operating System. Two weeks ago Debian 11 Bullseye was released.

Hi, the supervisor is missing from the sidebar after the upgrade. I have version Read the Release Notes , especially Breaking Changes. The Supervisor panel has been merged into the configuration panel. The separate menu item from the sidebar has been removed. The developers publish them to avoud threads like this one. Welcome Mattos to the forum. I expect like most you have been lurking on forum for a while before opening a thread. Then you get your nose bitten off or at least nibbled on.

How do I access it? Cannonball57 June 4, , pm Want to add addons? Did anyone figure out where the heck supervisor mode went? Try following the official instructions instead of a tutorial. Go to settings to find what you truly need. Also gone. All reactions. As far as i was able to see there should be a blue button in the bottom right corner which will open the addon-store. I will be doing that for the panels I use most frequently. I looked into the spot where it is installed and I did not see the repository. Seems to be a sign of the times.

So went through the process of spinning up the HA os on a Raspberry Pi 4. You may have to enable using the configuration. The new version is much more straight forward.
