Honda 3813 mower

We purchased our mower inand twenty years later, it's still going strong! Though it is a bit of a gas guzzler, it still cuts the grass just the way we like it, honda 3813 mower. We were thinking about the Honda pushmower at the time, but decided on this sit-down mower instead. It vibrates a lot, but I'm sure with the new models, they have improved this.

I had the deck off last year to weld up some rust and replace the blades and blade spindles. Now the left blade seems to be not cutting properly at all. The belts are in good condition and I can not find anything in the manual that seems to suggest a cure for this problem. Honda sure did not go all out on their shop manual for this machine as it is rather vague in some areas and some guess work is needed. ANy suggestions will be appreciated. The mower seems to be sitting level and nothing was broken when I had the cutting body off to make the repairs. I'll check the tensioner pully and if I can't find any iossues with that, I'll have to remove the deck - a job that I do not enjoy at all.

I just bought a HT and would like to get some inside info on it. A number of people who part out Cubs list their parts on that site, and one of them can help you out. If you have one, how much are you asking? I have a Honda HT lawn tractors It still runs good has pounds preasure per cyinter, transmission in ex shape ,drive clutch very good ,rear ex, tires in good shape. Do you have one or know of anyone willing to sell used or new? Had quite a bit more wear and tear than my first one, so I pulled the engine, replaced the drive clutch, PTO clutch, water pump and timing belt, along with a little tuneup. It has a 38" deck, and is a semi-automatic transmission, so it is big enough to mow a large lawn in a small amount of time, and is easy and fun to ride.

Mine also has a single roller centered on the front of the deck, so first design, looks like later ones would have a small roller on each side at the front. It's easy to do. Your post was the only hit I got on searching for HT
