I'm a single 23 year old female looking into staying a few nights on my own in Paris in mid-March before heading to Stuttgart to meet up with a friend. I have never been to Paris before and am wondering what some good, safe options for accommodations are, considering I'm looking to do the major Paris attractions. I'm on a budget but not into the hostelling thing unless I could find someplace safe and clean. My concerns are not necessarily in this order : safety, convenience, cleanliness, and cost. Any savvy women travelers out there that could help me out? Personal recommendations would be much appreciated. It's safe, very conveniently located in the 7th Arr and is only a couple blocks from the Eiffel Tower, Napoleons' Tomb and my fav Rodin's Museum. It's quite near a metro stop and is in the middle of a family area. There are lots of parents walking their little kids to school in the morning and then home again, purchasing baguettes at the corner bakery. Tasty bistro across the street. It's a market street, full of fresh fish shops, boulangeries, flower stores, etc. Extremely picturesque. Very reasonably priced, too.

This is another location that is notorious for having long lines so, for the best experience, purchase your ticket in advance on the official website , you will book a time slot for your visit. Also, I have stayed at Hotel Des Mines, which is about a five minute walk to busy area of Latin Quarter, but is on main street so you won't feel like you are walking down dark little side streets. Wall-spanning leather headboards and accent walls with suede-effect wallpaper add lush textural touches. Breakfast is served…. What is the best way to get around Paris?
