Visitors can plan their outing to include a stop at Lake Huron's renowned beaches, a visit to our quaint Gift Shoppe, a meal at a great local restaurant, or bring a picnic and lunch in our beautiful courtyard. When visiting the Huron Country Playhouse, patrons can skip the line at intermission and pre-order their refreshments upon arrival. They will be waiting at a pre-determined spot, ready for enjoyment. While the Playhouse stages outside Grand Bend have been dark for the last two seasons because of the pandemic, Drayton Entertainment announced recently that they are welcoming audiences back to the Mainstage and the South Huron Stage formerly Playhouse II this summer. Five productions, including The Sound of Music, will be presented during the season, which runs from June 23 to Sept. In a press release, Drayton Entertainment noted that the Huron Country Playhouse has featured more than productions on its stages since its first season in Things kick off on the Mainstage with the musical variety Fiddler on the Loose, which will run from June 23 to July 9. There are one or two fewer shows as we cautiously resume operations, but the top quality entertainment experience and customer service audiences have come to expect remain the same.
