It evolves from Monferno starting at level It is the final form of Chimchar. Several gold markings adorn its body: swirled, circular ones on its knees and shoulders flame-shaped ones on the back of its hands, and a stripe around its back that forms two swirls on its chest. Iron Fist also has the advantage of boosting Mach Punch's power which is taking another definite move-slot on him as I don't have much priority in my other mons. I'd say Iron Fist is much better than Blaze, especially because as long as you have a move that goes with it you can always use it whereas Blaze only works when your health is low and at that point you are at so much risk, a Choice Banded or Life Orb Iron Fist Infernape at least can stand a better chance than hoping for Blaze to be useable. Flare Blitz with Reccoil sure it has a higher chance of fainting the opponent but i wouldn't combine it with Blaze as it will usually mean fainting Infernape too which kinda wastes it whereas with the item boost at least Iron Fist Fire Punch has more damage available to it and might also do what Flare Blitz could have done while also letting ya last longer. For the last move, consider Thunder Punch. Also, it would get boosted by Iron Fist.
While the addition of its Community Day move, Blast Burn, is an improvement, it's not enough to make up for its lack of stats. Fire Spin is preferred for its considerably better energy gains compared to Rock Smash , though both moves offer the same STAB damage output. Blast Burn is a legacy move obtained during Chimchar's Community Day, and is a direct upgrade over Flamethrower in both damage output and energy cost. If you don't have the former, then the latter is still okay for providing Fire-type coverage. Close Combat takes just a tad more energy to pull off and also has STAB, making it another worthwhile move for its wide coverage. Infernape has no real place in the Great League. All of its notable wins are better handled by other Pokemon, and it has too many losses to be worth considering. How to use: You need to know your Pokemon's exact level. Sign In Register.

This also lowers the user's Defense and Sp. Def stats. This move always goes first. This also damages the user quite a lot. This attack may leave the target with a burn. This may also leave the target with a burn.

Cinderace provide Utility with Court Change, have Libero to make the already stronger Cinderace even Stronger while using Non-Stab moves, and was even faster. Life Orb is used to deal maximum damage while still being able to switch up moves. It uses all its limbs to fight in its own unique style. Rumble Blast Lava: Sunny Seashore. I think this mon will be a great pivot in the lower tiers. It'll likely shine in UU. Last edited: Dec 7, Infernape's fraility and vulnerability to every form of entry hazard also leaves it prone to being knocked out by strong, neutral priority moves like Extreme Speed from Dragonite and Vacuum Wave from Iron Valiant. I did not recommend using Raging Fury at all because it lock you into a move and cannot switch out, which essentially means that ape is already dead. Of particular note on these team teams , Infernape forms a scary VoltTurn core with Rotom-W, as the two are great at wearing down and luring in each other's defensive answers; Slowbro and Gliscor can be forced to switch out if Infernape uses U-turn, while Blissey must carefully consider switching into Rotom-W. Mime Mr. Its fire never goes out. Shining Pearl Its crown of fire is indicative of its fiery nature.
It also appreciates strong hazard removal as it is vulnerable to entry hazards which severely cut into its number of switch ins. Congrats to the winners of the Smog Awards! An excellent offensive typing, with powerful STAB moves and amazing coverage options enable Infernape to be threatening without needing to be a Tera Captain. Infernape's fraility and vulnerability to every form of entry hazard leaves it prone to being knocked out by strong, neutral priority moves like Extreme Speed from Dragonite and Vacuum Wave from Iron Valiant. Raging Fury is just not a very good move due to self-trapping. If it ever drops to RU it will pretty much guaranteed to be kicked out instantly. Mixed Infernape is generally best suited for offense teams that appreciate its ability to lure and take out common defensive staples like Gliscor and Slowbro, allowing offensive teammates such as Garchomp and Dragonite to wall break more easily.
